Egg's Eye View

Today was our town's Easter egg hunt. It was supposed to be at a local park so I had these visions of the kids dressed up for Spring, out in the sun, picking up eggs. Well the Mother Nature had different ideas. Everything was water-logged from yesterday's storms so the egg hunt happened in a dimly lit gym.

Today Maggie graduated from her little daycare and will be moving to the same daycare as Jayce starting Monday. It was a very bittersweet day. Maggie had no idea what all the fuss was about. She just enjoyed the cupcake. :)

Cheeky Longhorn

I pass this herd of longhorns almost everyday on my way home from work. Most of the open land in this area is being developed for more houses and strip malls and I wonder what is to become of these beautiful animals.
