This last pumpkin was originally Blue from Blue's Clues - carved by Richard. Then we left the dogs in the living room with it when we went to work yesterday. Tie-Dye decided that Blue makes a tasty treat.
Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!
Old and New
Taken in downtown Fort Worth. I'm hoping to head back sometime with my camera when I have more time to actually take photos.
A really big M
Richard and I left the kiddos with my mom and headed to Ft. Worth last night for the Maroon 5 concert. It was an incredible show - I'm already looking forward to the next one.
The obligatory Big Tex photo. I swear, I take this photo every time I go to the fair - along with thousands of other people.
Something a little different today. This is part of the "Mardi Gras" ride at the State Fair of Texas. I simply love the colors in this.
Everybody's All American? This picture just screams fall to me - and it's not because he's about to trip on that sidewalk. :D
Lately Maggie wants to do everything her big brother is doing. Tonight we were at Build-a-bear buying a birthday present for one of Jayce's friends. When Jayce was "cleaning" the gift, Maggie ran to the bins of bears, grabbed one, and joined her brother at the "bath".
Look! It's a picture of someone other than my own kids. :D This is Lincoln, the son of one of my co-workers.
Punk'in
My little punk on a huge pumpkin. I've got lots and lots of photos from the pumpkin patch this weekend. I bet you'll get tired of seeing them way before I run out of photos to post.
Possessive
Just what this blog needed - yet another picture of Maggie looking like someone's trying to take her ice cream away.
Curly Top
This is what happens to Maggie's hair when it gets wet. I don't know if it will stay curly like this and if it does I'm sure she'll hate it later but for now I'll enjoy those cute little curly locks.
Already in love
While the title could refer to Maggie's fondness for books, I am actually referring to the fact that she's reading David Gets in Trouble. One of Jayce's favorite series of books is quickly becoming Ms. M's as well.
We call these things zipper spiders but I'm sure there's a much more technical name for them. This one is much, um, prettier from the other side but it's built its web against our fence and since that web is HUGE there's no getting to the other side. If I happen to catch the other side I'll be sure to share. :)
Getting all dolled up - actually I bribed Maggie into letting me try on her halloween costume by letting her play in the sink. This girl just loves the foamy soap.
Ahhhhh
I just love his look of concentration here - like that drink is the most important thing in the world right then.
Everybody clap! (clap, clap, clap)
Everybody sing! (la, la, la, la, la!)
For those fortunate souls who haven't watched about 100 episodes of The Wiggles, this is Maggie's favorite song from the show. Clapping, singing, and turning around right with them - right down to shushing you that the bear's now asleep. Lately it's the best distraction tool we've got when she's bored, grumpy, or just plain in need of a distraction. :)
