The picture above was taken with a custom white balance from yesterday so it turned everything blue. I really liked the effect. Below is a picture taken with the proper white balance for the light in the station.

Anytime I start thinking I want to be a portrait photographer I get roped into doing an impromptu photo shoot with results like this and I start to rethink that idea. Today's my mom's birthday and she wanted a pic of all of her grandchildren together. I think we're going to have to try again sometime - I'm just not that good at headswapping in Photoshop.

Snow in Texas!

I work in what has to be one of the ugliest areas of suburban office spaces. But when it started to snow big, fat, fluffy flakes today I couldn't pass up the opportunity to snap some pics even if the surrounding area is u-g-l-y.
