Not the Geico gecko
We have these little guys hanging out all around our house this summer and almost every night when we take the dogs out we'll find one on the back door. According to wiki, this is a house gecko - so named because they hang out on houses in search of insects attracted to porch lights.

oh, i've seen plenty of those in our parts...somehow one made it up to my bedroom too. they're fun.
I think that's the kind we have! So cool, I love the reflection in the door thingy. This photo made N very very happy. :)
